As soon as the first rays of the sun appear, we all like to sit outside and enjoy the sun. And what makes such moments even more pleasant? The right music, of course! That's why speakers with good sound quality and long battery life are really important.

BONUS! At the end of the article you will find sample solutions for sounding your terrace or garden.

Outdoor sound system

Outdoor speakers are specially designed to achieve high quality sound in outdoor spaces and its uniform distribution throughout the space.

Suitable technologies for sounding the terrace and garden

Loudspeakers designed for outdoor environments should have protection against various adverse conditions and external influences, which will protect them and extend their lifespan.

Options for sounding the terrace:

• fixed installation - passive speakers connected to the amplifier
• active portable systems

1.Fixed installation

Fixed speaker installation is the ideal solution for those looking for the best sound quality and longevity. Passive speakers require connection to an amplifier located inside the house using speaker cables. However, for greater comfort, you can then control the music easily using a smartphone or tablet.

It is important to note that fixed speaker installations are slightly more difficult to install than portable systems. However, since the speakers are fixed in place, they provide worry-free operation and more stable and better sound for a longer period.

Ready-made sets

New sound systems specially designed for terraces and pergolas. Just choose according to your preferences and budget. You can also contact us and we will prepare a tailor-made proposal exactly according to your requirements.

Wall speakers

Outdoor speakers such as the SONORA-5B or SONORA-5N speaker system are installed on the wall and are an ideal choice for your terrace. Their adjustable wall mounts make it easy to position them and turn them towards where the music is being played.

Another possible solution is the WIP6608-B with a modern and elegant design that will fit into any space. The speakers are covered with an aluminum grille, have UV protection and, thanks to a rigid and solid ABS enclosure, are waterproof (IP66).

Built-in ceiling speakers

Outdoor ceiling speakers are the ideal solution for sounding your outdoor space, without significantly disrupting its aesthetic appearance. They can be discreetly hidden in the lower part of the roof and used to sound the outdoor kitchen or garden house. In the case of sounding the terrace, these speakers require a solid masonry or plasterboard roof/wall into which they will be installed.

We recommend the WS680 speakers designed for wet environments.

As with in-wall speakers, these speakers also require an amplifier.

Garden speakers

This category includes all speakers that are designed to be placed directly in the garden, hidden in bushes or along paths. All of these speakers benefit from a high level of waterproofing so they can stay outdoors all year round.

Some models, such as the MB240TB MASTER audio speakers, have a ground pin that fixes them firmly in the ground. Usually the speaker can then be rotated to optimize the dispersion angle. In our offer, you can also find them in the white version of the MB240TW MASTER audio speaker system.

For a more discreet installation, some garden speakers imitate the shapes and colors of real rockeries, such as the LAND30TR garden speaker mado for 100V distribution or LAND30TS with 360° radiation.

2. Active portable systems - portable speakers

Portable speakers with Bluetooth technology are a great solution for listening to music anywhere. They provide the possibility of comfortable wireless transfer and use in different places. Thus, their reliability and practicality enable their use also in the garden or when grilling.

We recommend, for example, the GRAFFIK600 by Ibiza Sound with colorful LED speaker lighting and graphic LED effects. Thanks to the wireless connection via Bluetooth, you can play music anywhere. If you are a fan of vintage style, we recommend the MEMPHIS-SOUND Bluetooth speaker from C.Perkins.

Another ideal solution are the AWSBT7 ACOUSTIC RESEARCH SPEAKERS made of ABS plastic, which are resistant to weather and rain. The Bluetooth connection is compatible with iPod, iPhone, iPad and also with Android OS devices.

Pro tip: Remember that portable Bluetooth speakers are meant for mobile entertainment and occasional use. For long-term and regular outdoor sound, we recommend considering the fixed installation of speakers.
