Sound system of the gynecological clinic in Gbely
For this particular sound design, we were based, as always, on the customer's requirements. To begin with, it is necessary to define the purpose of the sound system. Should the sound system be intended only for music reproduction? Should it also be used for reporting and calling patients?
The requirements of our customer were as follows:
- Ensure that the conversation in the doctor's office cannot be heard
- Loudspeaker for the waiting room
- Loudspeaker for the room where the nurse is
- Loudspeaker directly to the doctor's office
- Loudspeaker on the toilet
- Network player
- Adjusting the volume of each zone separately
As part of the installation, we used:
- ceiling speakers from the Belgian brand BST AP1208
- speaker system ARS 525 BS ACOUSTIC
- control panel PAA1206 BS ACOUSTIC
- WR2 BS ACOUSTIC network player
- speaker cable KLS215FLW
- CA5JR audio cable
PROCESS OF SOUND SYSTEM INSTALLATION:
- We used a 100V connection for the sound system.
Since the entire building has plasterboard coffered ceilings, we helped ourselves to the AC-300 Adjustable Hole Cutter.
- Installation of speakers and loudspeaker systems
To sound the premises, we chose ceiling speakers from the Belgian brand BST AP1208. For these speakers it applies - reasonable sound at a good price. This time, we did not place the speakers in the middle of the room, but near the door, in order to achieve the required noise reduction. We used an elegant speaker system ARS 525 BS ACOUSTIC for the WC.
- We have the speakers installed, now let's add the sound source.
We chose our PAA1206 BS ACOUSTIC control panel. This 6-zone radio control panel is ideal, as we can regulate the volume in each zone separately. It has a built-in player with a display, a USB connector and a slot for an SD card, a Bluetooth connection and an FM tuner. It also has a microphone input, but we will not use it this time.
- Network player or music control from one place.
We also added the WR2 BS ACOUSTIC network player. WR2 plays internet radios or podcasts using the AUDIOCAST or SMART SONIX application, which you can download for free in the respective appstore.
- Quality cabling.
We used a high-quality 2x1.5 mm KLS215FLW speaker cable for the connection between the speaker and the PAA1206 control panel. We connected WR2 and PAA1206 with a CA5JR audio connecting cable.
