Sound system of the football stadium in Skalica

The sound system of the football stadium of the Municipal Football Club in Skalica included design and installation of a complete sound system in both opposite stands. The sound system of the stadium had to be understood as a whole entity and it required to evaluate the current situation at the beginning. One of the grandstands required the reconstruction of the current sound system, which was already marked by time, the other one required the installation of a completely new sound system.

The aim was to give the stadium and its visitors a stable member of the second highest football competition in Slovakia adequate comfort and quality sound transmission.

As part of the installation we used:

• amplifier Hill-Audio LPA1800
• amplifier BW-9560B
• digital processor DS214B
• RACK Fonestar FRA10U
• wireless microphone set UDR300
• microphone Beyerdynamic TG V35
• speakers Master Audio BT800B

The proper functioning and thus the "brain" of the sound system is controlled from the announcer's room. From here, the home announcer can set all the necessary attributes associated with the sound he needs within his work. This is where the high-quality metal lockable RACK from the Spanish brand Fonestar FRA10U is located. The LPA1800 amplifier from the British brand Hill-Audio and the BW-9560B power amplifier were installed in the RACK. The DS214B digital processor is also located in the RACK.

 

  

 

The microphone is part of the UDR300 wireless set, complemented by the Beyerdynamic TG V35 dynamic vocal microphone. The wireless microphone from the UDR300 set has a comfortable range of 120 meters, so it can also be used on the playground at various events or due announcements. The set contains 1x handheld microphone, 1x headset microphone and receiver. The receiver has an LCD display that shows the frequency, channel number and group. The LCD display on the microphone shows the battery status and frequency. This set allows you to adjust the volume of each microphone separately. The microphone is powered by two 1.5V AA batteries. Battery life is approx. 8 hours of operation.

 

The sound transmission was provided by 20 pcs of BT800B speakers from the Italian brand Master Audio, which are suitable for the exterior thanks to their IP cover. The rigid and durable plastic baffle of these speakers is equipped with an 8 "subwoofer and a 1" tweeter. The speaker includes a swivel metal bracket for wall mounting. To achieve quality sound, these speakers were distributed evenly throughout the whole stadium.
