Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic

The sound project of the building of the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic was implemented in the remote village of Šarpanec. The aim was to provide sound for the building, which will serve as a training and leisure center for ministry employees.

The building itself already contained an older ceiling sound system, which, however, did not meet modern sound system requirements. This older sound system served mainly as an evacuation system and was not suitable for the current requirements of the building anymore. It was therefore necessary to supplement it with newer technology.

There were 2 main rooms in the building which needed to be sounded and provided with a projector.

We solved the audio part using:

  • set of wireless microphones Hill-Audio WMU216H
  • mixing console and amplifier Hill-Audio LPA500
  • speakers Hill-Audio SMW820

The WMU216H wireless UHF microphone Hill-Audio set includes 2 handheld microphones and a receiver. Wireless microphones are feedback resistant and have the best sound in their category. The range of the microphones is 50 meters, in open space up to 80 meters. The receiver has a large LCD display and has a separate volume control for each microphone.

The professional power stereo amplifier LPA500 is a technologically advanced amplifier that has best-in-class sound. It contains a digitally controlled limiter and a high-pass filter while maintaining a purely analog signal path. It contains a large 3-color LCD display informing about the operating status of the amplifier. It has bipolar power supply, works in the following modes: Stereo, parallel mono and bridge. It uses a temperature-controlled fan for cooling.

The advantage of using the SMW820 speakers from line ADAGIO is the swivel wall mount, which provides the ability to rotate the speaker 180 ° horizontally. The rigid and durable ABS plastic baffle is equipped with an 8 "subwoofer and a 1" tweeter. This speaker excels especially in its high dynamics and wide frequency range.

The Benq projector, which was connected and controlled wirelessly via an HDMI signal transmitter, took care of the detailed image projection. The image itself was transferred to a 120 "scrolling screen from Elite Screens.
