Improving the acoustics of the cultural center in the village of Častkov

About the project

In the cultural center in the village of Častkov, we implemented a project aimed at improving the acoustic properties of the main hall. The goal of the project was to significantly reduce unwanted reverberation and eliminate sound reflections, which negatively affected the intelligibility of the spoken word and the overall sound comfort during cultural and social events.

The main part of the project was the professional installation of acoustic melamine boards and acoustic panels, which were designed to effectively absorb sound in problematic frequency bands and at the same time aesthetically fit into the interior of the cultural center.

When designing the solution, we emphasized the optimal distribution of acoustic elements in the hall. Proper placement of the panels will significantly reduce sound reflections from walls and ceiling surfaces, which will improve the overall intelligibility of the spoken word, comfort during musical performances, and the quality of sound during community events.

The acoustic modifications implemented will contribute to creating a more pleasant environment for visitors to the cultural center, performers and event organizers. The result is a cultural hall with significantly more balanced acoustics and a more professional sound performance.
