Next-generation professional music player
NAD CI S2 is a compact network music player designed for professional installations and high-resolution audio distribution. In a rack format with a height of 1U and a width of only 1/3 of a rack, it offers the performance and connectivity you would expect from a full-fledged hi-fi device. It is built on the premium ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M converter, thanks to which it provides clear and accurate sound with a resolution of up to 24-bit / 192 kHz.
One player, two zones
Thanks to two outputs, one CI S2 can serve up to two zones - both of which can play different content at different volumes and with different audio settings. This solution saves space and costs, as a second player is not needed.
High-definition streaming
The player includes a first-class network streamer based on the BluOS platform. It provides access to almost all music ever recorded, in resolutions up to 24-bit / 192 kHz. An intuitive application in Slovak allows you to play music and control the CI S2 easily, from the comfort of your mobile phone, tablet or computer.
Flexible connectivity and power
The NAD CI S2 offers a wide range of connectivity options, including analog and digital inputs with support for Dolby signal decoding (on coaxial input), as well as a subwoofer output. Power can be provided via a 12 V DC adapter or directly via PoE, which gives installers maximum freedom in design and installation.
Discover the benefits of the NAD Modular Series
The ChassisLink system allows you to connect up to three NAD Modular Series units into a single 1U rack space. This allows you to combine different modules – such as the NAD CI PA4-60 4-channel power amplifier – into one elegant, clearly wired and fully modular solution for any installation project.
