A modern approach to the classics
The C 589 is based on a completely new CD mechanism and a precision laser system, which are structurally based on the best players from the golden era of the CD. Disc reading is fast, precise and stable, so you can rely on trouble-free playback even with more demanding or worn media.
More music, less distortion
Dynamic Digital Headroom technology ensures that even dynamically demanding passages sound natural and without harshness. It eliminates digital distortion and lets the music breathe. The result is a more open expression, better readability of details and smoother listening without fatigue.
Masters series technologies
Thanks to technologies from the top Masters series, the C 589 can get the absolute most out of the CD format. The reference ESS Sabre 9039 PRO DAC combined with QRONO d2a technology delivers a realistic and coherent musical image that perfectly captures the character of the original recording.
Modern LCD display
The clear 6.1" LCD display displays CD-Text and track information directly during playback. This brings the comfort you are used to from the streaming world and makes physical playback a natural and intuitive experience.
Reliability first
The C 589 is built to last. High-quality components, solid mechanics and consistent processing guarantee stable performance with every playback. In the spirit of the Classic series, this is an honest hi-fi component that you can rely on for many years.
