Three-way column speaker with universal use.

Thanks to the doubling of powerful 8" woofers with a lightweight polypropylene membrane, the Wega 55 MKIII has a significant power reserve and a solid drive on the bass. The polypropylene membrane is light and stiff, thanks to which the bass is powerful and dense, and at the same time very fast and accurate.

The same concept is used for the center speaker with a 5.5" polypropylene membrane in a rigid separate chamber. This solution, in conjunction with the 1" Vifa tweeter, is the secret to the accuracy of the Wega 55 MKIII speakers.

The bass reflex enclosure uses a sandwich front to increase the rigidity of the system. The speakers are recessed with a minimal gap to suppress diffraction at the edge. Both surface and cross reinforcements are applied inside the cabinet.

The sophisticated electronic crossover is implemented on an insulating panel with solder points. The individual components are glued to the panel and the component leads are connected directly to each other using the D2D method. The soldered connection system is also used for the connection of the drivers and terminal leads.

On the bottom of the speaker, nuts with a metric M6 thread are fitted for the possibility of installing spikes. The connection terminals allow for Bi-Wiring and Bi-Amping and the use of cables up to a cross-section of 4.5 mm2.
