Discover the advantages of WIFI sound system

Wireless listening to music is now an absolute standard, while the most common way is listening to music through Bluetooth speakers. They are effortless to use, you connect via phone or other device (e.g. tablet) to the speaker, and within a few seconds, you are already listening to your favorite music.
But what if you decide to go outside the house with your phone in your pocket? The rest of the household will notice that your speaker has lost signal and disconnected. When listening to music at home, you also find that the constant connection of your phone to Bluetooth drains your phone's battery.
The already mentioned problems can be solved through more modern Wi-Fi sound systems. Wifi sound system is based on connecting your audio system to a wifi router. This way, your music will play even when your phone is in any other room or outside and you will avoid signal drops.
When planning the Wi-Fi sound system of your space, you need to consider whether there is already an audio system in this space.
1. How to make a wifi sound system from scratch
If you are building a brand new audio system and have decided to go the Wi-Fi sound route, there are a few questions to consider:
1. Which rooms do you want to sound? It can be one (e.g. living room) or several rooms, even an entire apartment or house.
2. In which rooms should the same music be played? You want one sound source to play, or you want to use several sources simultaneously (eg radio sound and TV sound).
3. From what sources will you play music? For example USB, TV, Spotify, record player, FM radio, internet radio...
4. At what stage is your space? When designing a solution, it is important whether this space is completed or is under construction, or whether it is possible to intervene in the plaster.
5. What is your budget? Consider how much money you are willing to invest in the sound system. Are you looking for a cheap and functional solution or the highest quality sound?
6. What type of control do you prefer? Do you want to have the control always at hand, do you want to have it in one stable place, or can't you do without control using a smartphone?
After answering these questions, you will have a clearer idea of your requirements and expectations. Subsequently, it will be much easier for you to choose the necessary technology, or for us to design a customized Wi-Fi sound system for your space.
Below you will find several types of solutions for the Wi-Fi sound system of your space.
First solution: player/streamer + active speakers
The advantage of active speakers is that they already have a built-in amplifier, so you don't need to buy or connect it. However, for your audio system to work, it needs the player (streamer). It is something like the brain of the system. It can usually be controlled using a remote control or an app on your phone.

Second solution: amplifier + player + passive speakers
Unlike an active speaker, a passive speaker does not have a built-in amplifier. The amplifier has the task of amplifying the signal transmitted using wifi, Bluetooth, or other technologies and playing it through an audio medium (speaker).
Third solution: passive speakers + amplifier with player
Another solution is to use an amplifier and player in one device. In this way, we will avoid the unnecessary connection of cables and the use of multiple controllers. At BS ACOUSTIC, we have created several ready-made wifi sets for you, which you just need to put in the cart as 1 product.
INTO THE INTERIOR
If you are planning a Wi-Fi sound system in the interior, we recommend using, for example, Wi-Fi sets with bookshelf speakers.
TO THE EXTERIOR
If you plan to use a Wi-Fi sound system for outdoor areas (e.g. terrace), we recommend using, for example, Wi-Fi sets with speakers with IP coverage:
WA250 SET3 BS ACOUSTIC (Black variant)
WA250 SET4 BS ACOUSTIC (Biely variant)
2. Connecting your existing audio set to a wifi network
If you already have some audio equipment at home (for example, speakers), and you would like to create a complete Wi-Fi sound system at home, we have prepared some tips for you. In this case, what audio equipment is already in the given space is decisive. As we mentioned above, to create a complete Wi-Fi sound system, it is necessary to have some combination of the solutions mentioned above. In case you are missing any of the components in the space, we present possible alternatives for addition.
